Azizi Developments plans to start work on the third and fourth phases of its Azizi Riviera project next month. The $3.26bn project is located near the Dubai Water Canal and is being built within the Meydan One project.

The project consists of 69 mid-rise residential buildings offering studio, one- and two-bedroom apartments, an integrated retail district and a four- and five-star hotel. Construction of phase one and two is already underway and is scheduled for completion in the first quarter of 2019. The developer notes that the third and fourth phases will be ready by the end of 2019.

“The consistency in Azizi Riviera construction progress makes the start of 2018 a very exciting time for all of us. This destination project will enhance Dubai community lifestyle options through the introduction of mixed-use assets, such as hotels, residential, and retail developments,” said Farhad Azizi, CEO, Azizi Developments.

The developer says that from February, construction on the project will occur round-the-clock, which will enable the firm to meet the vision of its chairman to deliver the project ahead of schedule.

“Last year was extremely positive for us with a steady pace of project construction and handovers, allowing us to further enhance our credibility in the market. This year is poised to be even better because of our continued growth and expansion, as well as the new projects we will introduce into the market,” added Farhad.

The project’s design and architecture is based on the French Riviera but is also said to contain contemporary elements.
