In its filing to the Boursa Kuwait, HEISCO said that the plant is located in the Al Jahra region of Kuwait, and that it is a 2,400MW oil-fired power project, which is being developed in multiple phases.

The scope of works includes the modernisation of steam turbines and electric generators for eight steam units at the plant, it added.
