The Construction Division at CPI Trade will host the second edition of the Value Engineering (VE) Summit on April 9, 2019. This year, the free-to-attend event moves to a new venue, the prestigious Oberoi Hotel Business Bay in Dubai.

VE continues to be a topic of interest for construction professionals in the region, as companies in the sector strive to deliver complex structures and infrastructure, while keeping the project’s original intent and quality intact, under the leash of constrained budgets.

Hosted by Middle East Consultant and Big Project Middle East, the event will bring together developers, consultants, contractors and specialist suppliers to discuss important and engaging topics. For the 2019 edition, panels and presentations will examine whether design and build (D&B) is the future of cost-effective construction in the Middle East, the application of VE in private-public partnership infrastructure projects and much more.

“Last year’s inaugural event was very well received by guests and speakers alike. Discussions continued well after we had signed off on the day and thanks to ongoing encouragement from the industry and long-term partners, we made the decision to organise the second edition. We recorded over 250 guests last year and I’m confident we’ll beat that number this year, thanks to our line-up of speakers, topics and presentations,” said Raz Islam, managing director at CPI Trade.
