Germany’s TK Elevator has equipped the Kazakhstan, Russian and Saudi Arabian pavilions at Dubai’s ongoing Expo 2020 with its velino 200 and velino 300 escalator systems, as well as providing escalators for the German pavilion.

The company said the two systems are among its best-selling product series, and cover all commercial needs, from standard and design-oriented applications to custom projects. Each velino escalator offers valuable sustainability features, and is safety oriented with over 50 intelligent safety-enhancing features. According to TK, the series proves that sustainability always pays off and puts energy efficiency into operational practice to reduce a building’s carbon footprint.

TK Elevator has also brought its tugela escalator solution to Expo 2020, which the German pavilion ‘CAMPUS GERMANY’, and the Saudi Arabian Pavilion. It is designed to meet all demands of traffic applications and scores high on durability and reliability. A wide range of customisable design options including diverse outer claddings and handrail colors is available.

Furthermore, a line-up of Machine-Room-Less (MRL) elevators powered by TK Elevator technologies are also featured at the pavilions of Germany, Kazakhstan, Luxembourg, Saudi Arabia and Russia. These MRL elevators are environmentally friendly, designed for high-rise residential buildings, office buildings, hotels and various public buildings. They save building space, improves freedom of design, fully reflects sustainability, and ensures comfortable and pleasant rides, said the manufacturer. In addition to country pavilions, the same MRL elevators are also installed at the partner pavilions of DP World and Emirates.

Elsewhere In Dubai, TK Elevator has provided its products and solutions for several projects, such as elevators and escalators at Dubai International Airport, while the high-rise Latifa Tower on Sheikh Zayed Road is equipped with four of TK Elevator’s TWIN systems.
