A competitive process to select a developer for the construction and operation of approximately 5,800 staff accommodation units under a long-term DBFO concession is being undertaken by the Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC).

According to a statement from the firm, through the process it intends to bring best-in class infrastructure and real-estate players and investors to design, build, finance, operate and maintain housing units and associated supporting utilities and amenities to be located across five different onshore and offshore industrial locations in Abu Dhabi.

Interested parties are requested to register their interest to participate in a briefing session via an email to ADNOC no later than 12pm Gulf Standard Time on October 4, 2021. The statement noted that the selected parties will be responsible for providing hospitality, maintenance, and facility management services.

The large-scale project will be the first of its kind within ADNOC Group and will ensure sufficient housing units are provided to accommodate staff supporting onshore and offshore operations, the statement said.

Each email must specify the name, address, telephone number and e-mail address of the appropriate authorised contact person to whom all future correspondence should be sent, together with a brief description of the entity expressing interest (including but not limited to size, annual turnover, number of employees, country of incorporation and business profile), the company explained.

Following a review by ADNOC, the relevant contact person will be advised whether they have been invited to a briefing session on October 11, 2021 that will provide a high-level overview of the project ahead of the submission of a formal expression of interest by October 18, 2021, the statement concluded.
