L&T Oman says its Buildings and Factories business has been awarded the main works contract of The Mandarin Oriental located at Muscat by Eagle Hills situated in Oman’s capital.
The project involves the construction of the Mandarin Oriental Hotel Muscat and the residences at the Mandarin Oriental, said the firm in a statement.
L&T is tasked with overseeing the overall construction within the site as well as external works, services, and hard and soft landscaping.
Once completed, the project will comprise a 150-key hotel and 156 units of branded residences, as well as 1,622sqm of retail areas, podium and basement.
The firm also confirmed it has secured an add-on order to construct a residential tower for a leading developer in Hyderabad.
