MAG Lifestyle Development has appointed Opal as the interior design consultant on its $1.27bn MAG Eye project in Meydan, Dubai. As per the terms of the contract, Opal will design the interiors of the gated community’s townhouses and apartment buildings.

According to a statement from MAG, it has also appointed Dubai-based VX Studio as the peer review consultant for the project. As part of its role, VX Studio will provide development solutions that maximise return on investment.

MAG Eye is billed as the only fully gated townhouse and villa community in Meydan District 7 and features some 3,952 apartments and 536 townhouses. The development features 4,800sqm of public facilities including a private clinic, nursery and mosque, approximately 5,000sqm of retail space and 84,211sqm of public parks and green areas, which includes a jogging and bicycle track.

The developer says residents will have access to a sports club, ladies lounge area, coffee shop, swimming pool, and dedicated children’s pool and indoor play area, as well as indoor and outdoor bar areas for community parties.
