Infrastructure works for the Emirati District project in Madinat Zayed are progressing, according to an Abu Dhabi General Services Company (Musanada) official quoted by WAM.

Suwaidan Rashed Al Dhaheri, Acting Chief Executive of Musanada, stated that the Emirati District’s infrastructure project consists of three blocks including roads and infrastructure works.

At present, all project works are being executed and are set to be completed in late 2019.

Al Dhaheri noted that works in the project include preparation of infrastructure, road networks and service paths connecting 2,755 residential plots, 37 mosques, 47 gardens and 13 schools.

All of this is within a residential community that spans 1,401 hectares and is set to serve about 22,000 citizens.

Initial project works include ground treatment, paving works, main roads, local roads, a potable water system, rainwater drainage network, sewerage network, irrigation, firefighting services, power cables, 22 kW substations, natural gas networks and communications.
