Bahri & Mazroei Group, electrical and lighting providers for buildings and infrastructure projects in the GCC, has appointed Youssef Saidi as its new chief operating officer (COO), according to a company press release.

Esam Al Mazroei, vice chairman, Bahri & Mazroei Group, welcomed the new appointment. “We believe Bahri & Mazroei Group, under his leadership, will accelerate the pace of growth and profitability and rank among the top companies in this sector in the next few years,” he added.

Saidi holds a master’s degree in Applied Computer Science and Business Administration from Paul Sabatier University in France. Earlier, he held the positions of CEO of Horizon TV and group COO for Eurostar Group in Dubai. He has also served in senior positions with Philips and Pace PLC in France, Latin America and the Middle East.
