The UAE-based Al-Futtaim Engineering has won an annual contract to maintain elevators at the Burj Al Salam Tower on Sheikh Zayed Road in Dubai.
The company said that its elevator division will service and maintain 22 high-speed, high-rise Hitachi elevators for the Abdulsalam Al Rafi Group.
These elevators are equipped with technology such as destination floor reservation systems (DFRS) where a passenger registers the desired floor at the lobby and an elevator car is assigned accordingly.
“We are extremely pleased to have won this maintenance contract from Abdulsalam Al Rafi Group. We look forward exceeding their expectations,” said Dawood Ozair, Senior Managing Director of Al-Futtaim Engineering and Technologies.
Al-Futtaim has previously supplied elevators for several projects such as Jumeirah Lakes Towers, The Address Dubai Mall hotel, Nassima Royal Hotel and Mercato Mall.
