Handover of finished units has commenced at the AED338 million ($92 million) Frankfurt Sports Tower I (FST I) in Dubai Sports City, according to an announcement by developer Shaikhani Group.

Designed by Al Hatmy Design and Engineering Consultancy, and OST Constructional Projects LLC, the tower comprises 224 units, divided into 140 studios, 56 one-bedroom and 28 two-bedroom apartments, the announcement said. It also features ground-level and basement parking, a concierge desk, four high-speed elevators, a rooftop health club with swimming pool, gym and fitness facilities, a party hall and an outdoor terrace, as well as in-house maintenance team.

“With Dubai Sports City rapidly emerging as a world class sporting hub, we believe that FST I presents a compelling investment opportunity in addition to being a destination of choice for those who wish to embrace an active lifestyle in harmony with nature and the community,” said Mahmood Shaikhani, managing director at the Shaikhani Group of Companies.

“We are proud to be one of the early contributors to Dubai Sports City, which has been designed and developed with a view to provide a mix of residential, retail, leisure and recreational facilities. We would like to extend a warm welcome to all residents.”

Apart from FST I, the real estate division of the Shaikhani Group also has Champions Tower I, II, III, and IV in Dubai Sports City in its portfolio, as well as Cambridge Business Centre in Dubai Silicon Oasis.

The $3 billion Dubai Sports City community development is home to premier sports arenas such as a 60,000-seat football stadium, as well as educational, healthcare and retail facilities. It has been designed to accommodate more than 70,000 people over the 50 million square foot master development.
