Logistics giant DP World has struck a deal with a Dow Chemical Company affiliate to support distribution of its products from Dubai’s Jebel Ali Port, the UAE news agency WAM reported.

DP World is set to provide Dow with storage facilities and shipping services under the terms of the agreement.

The contract was signed by Mohammed Al Muallem, Senior Vice President and Managing Director of DP World in the UAE Region, and Moosa Al-Moosa, President of Dow UAE in Jebel Ali, WAM said.

“This partnership will help Dow extend its geographical reach and product distribution globally, ensuring we have the right logistics and supply chain in place,” Al-Moosa said in a statement.

Jebel Ali Port is the gateway to over 90 weekly services connecting more than 140 ports worldwide.
