Al-Futtaim Auto & Machinery Co. LLC (FAMCO) and Volvo Buses have won a record order from Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority (RTA).

The organisation’s order of 373 city buses is Volvo’s largest chassis order to date in Dubai.

It is also the largest ever purchase of Euro VI city buses in the Middle East region.

The deal surpasses last year’s Volvo Buses and FAMCO winning an order to supply 143 SC5 Volvo luxury intercity coaches which at the time was FAMCO’s largest deal with the RTA to date.
