Tech Group, the Ajman-based construction company, says it has secured contracts worth $23.7 million for a number of services for the $163.35 million Ajman Corniche Residence (ACR) mixed-use project.

Expected to be completed in the second quarter of 2017, the ACR project comprises residential areas, shopping malls and entertainment centres.

Subsidiaries of Tech Group will be providing services to the project. EM Tech, the electrical and mechanical arm of the company, has secured a $13.6 million contract with the ACR project, which is being termed as the largest MEP project in Ajman.

The company told Big Project ME that work on the MEP operations is on schedule, with mechanical and plumbing works expected to be completed by early 2017. In addition to MEP services, Tech Group is also supplying ready-mix concrete and construction blocks.

“For us, the year 2015 is not only about growth in Ajman, but we are working aggressively to expand our footprint into other Emirates. With a lot of construction-related opportunities across the UAE, we will continue to provide the highest quality of products and services to our clients in the most cost-efficient manner,” said Shiraz Hasan, group CEO, Tech Group.

Tech Group, headquartered in Ajman, consists of 10 business units operating in the construction supply chain, including aluminium and glass, ready mix and concrete blocks, petroleum trading, electrical, mechanical and plumbing services, construction and piling works, steel cut and bend and fabrication.
