Wade Adams subsidiary awarded Saadiyat Lagoons District infrastructure works contract

Hilalal Bil Badi & Partners Contracting Company (Hilalco), the UAE-based group company of Wade Adams, the GCC-wide construction and engineering group, has announced that is has been awarded a contract by Aldar Properties for the provision of infrastructure works at Saadiyat Lagoons District.

In a statement, the company said that it will complete early works at the Zayed National Museum Development and Central Precinct Area and arterial roads at Lagoons in addition to remaining infrastructure works at Saadiyat Cultural District. It would also work on a Traffic Control System FOC network.

The infrastructure scope of work includes roads, earthworks, potable water network, irrigation works, storm water network, sewer network, power works (MV, LV and FOC), street lighting, telecom networks, natural gas works, public realm works, district cooling network, fibre communication network, access roads and utility connections, it added.

Saadiyat Lagoons District is a six million sqm nature-inspired, mixed-use development in Abu Dhabi. It features residences, extensive parks and lakes, diverse community facilities including pathways for walking, running, cycling, and horse riding.
