His Highness Dr Sheikh Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah has laid the foundation stone for the new Victoria International School building.
The project is taking shape in the Khorfakkan area of the emirate and, once complete, it will be able to accommodate 1,000 students.
The new school will feature several modern facilities including specialised classrooms, technical and technological halls, knowledge resources, sports and entertainment facilities, in addition to modern educational technologies.
According to a statement, the Victoria International School is considered one of the most prestigious schools that adopt scientific and academic curricula and programmes, with various distinguished activities that contribute in qualifying its students scientifically, academically and skillfully.
