Terex Utilities has launched a new eCommerce platform to support all customers with a simple and functional online shopping experience for tools and accessories used in the utilities industry.

A statement from the Terex Group company said that the new eCommerce platform offers “one-stop-shopping” for tools and accessories used in the utilities industry and beyond.  Many of the products available on the platform were previously only obtainable through a traditional catalogue.

“Hundreds of products—from climbing equipment to traffic safety gear and Terex Auger Tools—can be ordered. New customers can self-register for an account, place orders by credit card, view order status, track shipments, and see invoices,” said the statement, adding that  the new platform offers users the “type of online shopping experience today’s buyers have come to expect”.

For existing Terex customers, including rental partners and dealers who previously had access to an eCommerce platform, the new platform comes with several new and upgraded features. Online parts manuals for many Terex units are now browsable from this website and allow for simple “Click-to-Cart” functionality. Parts are also searchable by keyword, part number, and category, which Terex said makes “part identification or discovery easier than ever”.

Blake Dahle, senior manager, Digital Customer Experience, at Terex Utilities, said: “Improving the customer experience is foundational to our organisation. The changes we have made to our eCommerce platforms go beyond an upgraded look. We added functionality to simplify the entire process of finding and purchasing the parts customers need.”
