Madinah Governor inaugurates health projects worth $167mn in region

Prince Faisal bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Governor of Madinah Region, has inaugurated several new health projects, implemented by the Ministry of Health in the Madinah region and with a total value in excess of $167 million.

According to a Saudi Press Agency report, Prince Saud bin Khalid Al-Faisal, Deputy Governor of the Madinah Region and Dr Tawfiq Al-Rabiah, Minister of Health, participated in a virtual call to inaugurate the new projects.

During the call, Prince Faisal said that the health sector in Madinah is supported by the government of King Salman, and that the projects are part of the KSA government’s endeavours to accelerate the pace of work to complete health projects so as to ensure the provision of quality healthcare to citizens of the Kingdom.

In related news, the Saudi-based, English-language daily, Arab News, reported that the Madinah governor has also taken steps to build three new pilot projects for the housing of migrant workers in the region. The projects are scheduled to be completed within the next three months.
