Mumbai-based Steel Carriers Infrastructure (SCI) has become the first company in India to own and operate a 1,200t-capacity class mobile telescopic crane after the crane services provider acquired the AC 1000-9 all-terrain crane from Demag.

Terming the delivery of the crane as not just a proud achievement for SCE but for the manufacturer as well, Norbert Dudek, director and head of Demag Business Asia, said: “The Demag AC 1000-9 is undoubtedly an outstanding crane in its class.
