Orascom Development has announced that construction works on its flagship ‘O West’ project in Egypt will begin in October. The $198m development will take shape in West Cairo in ‘6th of October’ city and will spread over 4.2m sqm.
The delivery of the 950 residential units is scheduled to begin four years after the start of construction, the developer said. Orascom notes that the first and second phases of the project have been sold out and intends to launch the third phase in September of this year.
Once complete, O West will become the developer’s flagship project in the capital, and will feature residences, leisure & entertainment, education and healthcare facilities and businesses. The developer said the town will serve as a beacon of integrated living and was designed to offer a complete sensory experience.
The development is intelligently and harmoniously designed to offer a true wholesome town experience, the developer says.
