Kuwait-based Hertz Dayim Equipment Rental has taken delivery of an order of 77 JLG aerial work platforms comprising boom lifts and electric scissors.

The order includes two of JLG’s 1850SJ, two 1500SJ, six 1350SJP and six 1250AJP which are the largest access platforms in the Kuwait market today, making Dayim one of the premier high access providers in the Middle East., said a statement from specialist powered access equipment and telehandler maker JLG, a part of the Oshkosh Corporation,

Chris Brocklehurst, country director, Hertz Dayim Equipment Rental, said: “We are very pleased with the continued support of (Middle East sales director) Ian Hume and his team and for the long-standing relationship we have had with JLG in the region. Many of these units are now with major clients within the oil & gas fields in the region, giving them the support and reassurance of quality equipment with the premium support our clients demand. As customers nowadays demand new equipment for the safest, most productive and cost effect methods of working that the industry and provide, customer rely on us to make their projects a success given the tight margins they work under.”
