Subsea 7, L&T wins offshore contract from Saudi Aramco

London based engineering services company, Subsea 7 and India’s Larsen & Toubro (L&T) have been awarded two engineering, procurement, construction, and installation (EPCI) contracts to work at Saudi Aramco’s Zuluf and Berri oil fields.

Under the terms of the contract, the two companies will deliver conventional project in shallow water offshore Saudi Arabia. L&T Hydrocarbon Engineering, a subsidiary of L&T, will be responsible for the project under a long-term agreement (LTA) with Saudi Aramco, according to a statement from Subsea 7.

Subsea 7 stated that both the projects will be executed together and consist of EPCI of three oil production deck manifolds and Subsea pipelines in Zuluf field and Subsea pipelines in Berri field.

David Lowther, Vice President for Subsea 7 (Middle East) said: “Our assets are well suited to deliver this type of work and this award builds on our track record of project execution in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.”
