Majan Development Company, the Oman-based real estate developer, has announced that work has started on Phase Three of its mixed-use project, Al Muzn, which is located opposite the Al Mouj Muscat area in Mawaleh North.

According to a report by the Oman Observer, the upcoming development will consist of a 127-unit, high-rise complex that will feature one-, two- and three-bedroom apartment units and 13 commercial showrooms.

The residential units will be an extension of the mixed-use Al Muzn complex, which is in the same location. Phase Three will be proceeded by the Al Muzn Mall and a three-star hotel, which is scheduled to open during the first quarter of 2019. It will be followed by other projects to complete the Al Muzn Complex, the developer added.

The main contractor on the project is Al Subhiah Trading and Contracting, while Tibiaan Properties has been appointed to exclusively market and sell the development, the report stated.

The five-story project – which is being built with an investment of more than $18.1 million, will have a total built-up area of 20,000sqm. Key amenities featured include gardens, green spaces, a gymnasium, a swimming pool and parking spaces.
