Ghantoot Group and Al Bayt Mitwahid Association (ABM) plan to build a 3KM walkway that can be used for walking, running and cycling in Samha Abu Dhabi. The development of the walkway is the first project jointly undertaken by the two organisations, following the signing of a sponsorship deal designed to drive the development of several projects and initiatives.

“Ghantoot Group has been responsible for some of Abu Dhabi’s most notable developments and together we look forward to commencing our walkway project. At ABM, healthy living is one of our key pillars and that is why we continually strive to develop new opportunities for the community to maintain a healthy lifestyle. The walkway will provide men, women and children alike with another area in Abu Dhabi where they can exercise in a friendly, safe and serene outdoor environment,” said Saif Ali Al Qubaisi, chairman of Al Bayt Mitwahid Association.

The development in Samha will be the second such initiative developed by Al Bayt Mitwahid, the first was a community walkway in Umm Al Qaiwain.

“Ghantoot admires the continuous work that Al Bayt Mitwahid does for the many communities across the UAE and for that reason I am proud to sign this sponsorship deal. We are constantly striving to improve the environment in which our projects thrive in; with the walkway, we are helping provide a facility for healthy lifestyle choices that will always be available to the members of the community,” commented Ali Mohamed Al Bloushi, chairman of Ghantoot Group.

According to Al Bloushi, work on the Samha walkway project is set to commence soon and is expected to open to the community within a year.
