The Mohammed bin Rashid Housing Establishment (MRHE) has announced the completion of 500 residential units in the Oud Al Muteena area of Dubai.

According to state news agency WAM, the units are expected to be distributed in September, as part of the initiatives of UAE President Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan.

The residential units, which were completed at the start of Q3, 2018, are said to have been built following modern specifications, and in compliance with the standards of sustainable and green building codes.

Speaking about the initiatives, Sami Abdullah Gargash, executive director of the MRHE said that these projects help to improve the living, economic and social conditions of UAE citizens. Additionally, he emphasized that the partnership between the initiatives of Sheikh Khalifa and the MRHE will transform the housing sector and provide dignified lives for the emirate’s residents, while allowing them to achieve social stability.

Referring to the homes, Gargash categorised them as “grant residences”.
