Chinese construction equipment heavyweight Shantui has launched a new series of hydrostatic bulldozers that covers the full range of the pushers.

Officially unveiling the three series and six grades of the full range of hydrostatic bulldozers at Intermat in Paris last month, Liu Kun, Shantui’s business director for Europe, said that while the company began research and development on hydrostatic bulldozers in 2008, it produced its first model – the SD10YE – in 2009. Machines in the new range launched in Paris can easily adapt to various working conditions, he added, such as public works construction, building golf courses and even heavy load mining.

Shantui has been selling hydrostatic products in more than 20 countries and regions globally including Europe, USA, the Middle East and India. Apart from dozers, the company, which is a subsidiary of the Shandong Heavy Industry Group, also manufactures excavators, wheel loaders and road machinery.
