DAMAC has issued a new tender for enabling works on its 30-storey Vera Residences project. The firm says that it hopes to appoint a contractor by the first week of April, with a goal to complete enabling works 30-days after the contract is awarded.

The tower project consists of a basement, ground level, three podium levels, 25 residential floors and a rooftop. DAMAC notes that the enabling works contract will prepare the ground for foundational layout, piling work, which will then be followed by main construction work.

“Damac is issuing the tender following unprecedented response by buyers for this value-driven investment proposition, located in the most desirable area of Dubai. We wanted to start construction work without delay, to be in a position to deliver the units to their new owners as quickly as we can,” said Mohammed Tahaineh, senior vice president – commercial, DAMAC Properties.

The 30-storey tower will feature amenities including a dedicated children’s play area, barbecue area, temperature-controlled swimming pool, state-of-the-art fitness centre, jogging track, steam rooms and sauna, landscaped gardens, as well as covered parking. Vera Residences will also include a shopping boulevard, which the developer says will further elevate the community feel and provide convenience to residents.
