Saudi health group awards $37m hospital expansion contract

Saudi Arabia’s Dallah Health Company has awarded a $37.3 million contract to Youseff Marroun Contracting Company for the extension of the western side of the Dallah Hospital – Al Nakheel, in the capital Riyadh.

In a statement to the Tadawul, the Saudi bourse, the company said that the scope of work includes some mechanical, electrical and plumbing (MEP), as well as some structural works. Construction on the project is expected to begin next week, the statement added.

Once complete, the expansion will see 150 beds and 30 clinics added to Dallah Hospital – Al Nakheel.

As per the contract, Youseff Marroun Contracting Company will complete the contract by the second quarter of 2019.
