Rexel IPG has extended its service offer to Egypt, a key geography for short and midterm O&G investments with more than $50 billion in capex planned in the coming 10 years, according to the Energy Industries Council.

Rexel IPG, a global leader specialised in electrical material sourcing and management for large capital projects, is partnering with local construction group Al Mousa to offer its customers electrical material solutions to simplify project execution and optimise cost, schedule and quality.

Following a successful partnership on a first significant oil and gas project in Egypt, Rexel IPG and Al Mousa are now working together to offer their expertise to more EPCs, end users and electrical contractors: from material take off, sourcing optimisation, quality control, inventory management and staged deliveries to complete project management solutions.

Building on a strong partnership developed initially in Saudi Arabia, Rexel IPG and Al Mousa bring tangible expertise to help customers on Egyptian projects. “Our close collaboration with Al Mousa in Saudi Arabia has helped us tremendously to coordinate our value proposition to what’s best for the customer on their project, and work together more efficiently to deliver both performance and savings,” said Jerry James, Rexel IPG Business Development Manager for the EMEA region. “We are very pleased to be extending our partnership to Egypt.”
