The UAE-based service provider Emrill has won a three-year facilities management contract for The Beach development in Dubai, according to a company statement.

The deal will see Emrill provide maintenance and housekeeping services, as well as waste management, generator and building management system maintenance.

The Beach, developed by Meraas, spans 320,000 square feet opposite Jumeirah Beach Residence, and includes shops, cinemas, restaurants, a water park and play area for children.

“Emrill understands the intricacies of the services required to manage such a complex facility to the highest standards. We are confident that we will provide Meraas with the best support to maintain this exceptional development over the next 3 years,” said Jason Ruehland, Managing Director at Emrill.

Emrill employs more than 6000 staff, and offers a full range of facilities and asset management services.

Meraas did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
